Christmas With The Single Dad (Mills & Boon Medical) by [Heaton, Louisa]
After the loss of her only child, and the subsequent meltdown of her marriage, Sydney has learnt to be alone—maybe too well. Sydney fills her days with work and memories of her little girl, refusing to let anyone help her move on. And refusing to celebrate Christmas without her daughter.

When the mother of his daughter walked out on them both, Nathan knew his number one priority had to be raising her alone, especially since his health has effectively taken him out of the dating game. He likes Sydney, but he won’t risk his heart, or his daughter’s, to another woman who may just walk away, especially at Christmas.

Circumstances in their small village bring Sydney and Nathan together more often than they’d like, and both begin to wonder if it is possible to love after loss. Maybe, just maybe the magic of Christmas will help both move on from their past and consider a future… together.

I love this book! Anytime you give me a damaged hero, I’m likely to fall for him, but add in a woman who has been strong for too long and I’m hooked. Louisa writes beautifully flawed characters who you can’t help but care for throughout their emotional journey. I cried tears for them both—happy and sad. As the story approached Christmas, it is pure magic.

If you love Christmas romances the way I do, you won’t want to miss this one!
